Natural approaches to manage stormwater, reduce runoff, improve water quality and naturalize urban spaces in Castlegreen Co-operative

Taking natural approaches to manage stormwater, reduce runoff, improve water quality and naturalize urban spaces in Castlegreen Co-operative. On August 23-24 and September 13-14, volunteers created three rain gardens to capture and infiltrate water from nearby apartment rooftops. Thanks to each of our volunteers, Castlegreen Co-Operative, Rotaract, the Ontario Stewardship Youth Rangers (MNRF – Kakabeka), Rutter Urban Forestry Ltd., Thunder Bay Hydro, Thunder Bay (Port Arthur) Rotary Club, Lakehead Region Conservation Authority, Tbay Stewardship Council; the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada, RBC, City of Thunder Bay – Municipal Government, Ontario, Canada, Ontario Trillium Foundation and Green Communities Canada for their support!
